Founded by Aviation Experts

MECAWINGS was established in June 2022 by three experienced aviation professionals: Cyril Jean Laurent, Eddy Renaud, and Laurent Bele. With decades of combined experience in aircraft maintenance, our founders recognized the need for specialized, high-quality line maintenance services for airlines.

Our Mission

From day one, our primary objective has been ensuring optimal aircraft safety through meticulous maintenance practices and unwavering commitment to aviation standards. We specialize in line maintenance for airlines, providing comprehensive services that keep aircraft operational and compliant.

First Success

December 2022 - Signed our inaugural contract with ASLF, launching our operational journey in aircraft maintenance.

Rapid Growth

Expanded our client base with major airlines including Corsair, Evelop, CMA CGM, Transavia, and Sabena Technics.

PART 145 Certified

September 15, 2023 - Achieved PART 145 Certification, confirming our adherence to the highest international standards.

Françoise Jean-Laurent

President, Co-founder & CFO

After working in the financial departments of major international groups such as ArcelorMittal and GBH, Françoise has acquired solid accounting and financial expertise. As President, co-founder and CFO of Mecawings, she is responsible for ensuring the sustainability and development of our company while establishing solid governance.

Eddy Renaud

Co-founder & CEO

An aeronautical technician by training, having started at XL Airways. Eddy has perfected his skills in several MROs, holding various positions including management. As co-founder of Mecawings, he now ensures general and technical management, with the main mission of coordinating teams and ensuring the smooth running of operations.

Cyril Jean-Laurent

Co-founder & Commercial Director

With 30 years of experience as an aeronautical technician, Cyril is a recognized expert in aircraft maintenance. He has collaborated with numerous airlines around the world, giving him a deep and strategic vision of the sector. As co-founder and commercial director of Mecawings, he is committed to developing lasting trust relationships with clients and ensuring competent and flexible teams.

Laurent Bele

Co-founder & Safety & Compliance Manager

Versatile, Laurent has developed deep expertise in aeronautical safety throughout his professional career as a technician and then as a borescopy inspector. As co-founder and Safety & Compliance Manager, he ensures compliance with Part 145 requirements and also serves as a privileged contact with EASA and FAA surveillance authorities.
